Spotlight on Safe 4 Us Solano
The Family Justice Center is proud to host Safe 4 Us Solano — Supervised Visitation and Exchange Center, a program designed to create a safe, supportive environment for families navigating difficult circumstances.
Safe 4 Us Solano provides children and parents with a place where visits and exchanges can happen without fear, conflict, or exposure to violence. The program is built on two core values: reducing children’s exposure to trauma and supporting healthy parent-child relationships in a safe, culturally sensitive space.
Our goals are to:
- Hold abusive parents accountable while offering interventions and support.
- Ensure safety for both adults and children during visits and exchanges.
- Promote healing and positive family connections where possible.
The program follows the “2-2-20” framework:
- 2+ hours of safety during the visit or exchange.
- 2+ hours of safety during the process of separation.
- 20+ years of safety as children grow, through improved co-parenting or parallel-parenting.
By focusing on both immediate and long-term safety, Safe 4 Us Solano is advancing the practice of Supervised Visitation and Exchange Services — helping families move forward with dignity, security, and hope.
