Stronger Solano Together
Greetings from Family Justice Center Solano! This spring has brought exciting changes to our Family Justice programs. To ensure IPV survivors can access safety and healing no matter where they live, we’re taking a new regional approach to coordinating services. Clients can now get Navigation to Connection help at our Centers in Fairfield, Antioch, Concord, Danville and Richmond—wherever makes most sense for them.
We’re also using an enhanced Navigation model across our network. This model helps identify critical situations using the proven Lethality Assessment Program, which includes safety planning conversations and connections to children’s services. Close collaboration across two counties means we can share information and find more solutions to serve families with a range of needs and geographical ties.
Our Solano Center also continues to grow. We’ve expanded our Clinical Program to serve more kids and youth. We’ve welcomed new staff and community partners, including new leadership in our Supervised Visitation Program. During this time of transition, we’ve been grateful for the steady presence of interim Center Director Mayra Sanchez.
Our First Annual Fundraiser was a success and such fun! In a time of funding uncertainty for many essential services, our community came together to help us keep our Solano programs healthy and stable.
In these uncertain times, our strength comes from each other and our interconnected work. We’re a Stronger Solano Together! Stay tuned for community gathering opportunities this spring and summer. Meanwhile, we invite you to stay involved with us in whatever way is best for you: by volunteering your time, donating clothing or care packages, or learning with us.
At the Family Justice Center, supporting IPV survivors in finding safety, healing and community regardless of their immigration status is our priority and our job. All of our Family Justice Center staff are informed and prepared to protect you as best we can. Please don’t hesitate to call us at 707-784-7635 or drop in to our office with questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing you soon.
